or measurer
gnarled branches of an old pine
blossoms of a flower on a
distant mountain,
unseen,
unheralded
ink of an unwritten mystery
read by no one
solved by nothing
a tongue long forgotten,
never remembered
without grammar
or haikus of
unborn poets
an unasked question
without answer
no investigation
no discovery
no resolution
a sunset in a world
bereft of eyes
whose cells never imagined vision
a land of lambs and wolves
who never dared to see
the bravest of men are those who forget their sorrows before they can recall them
the fairest of maidens those who never gazed upon a mirror,
or thought to
the wisest of sages those that never loved
nor let their hearts break
or rather, who loved everything so much
they could not find a single one
to love more than any
