i don’t want a teacher right now, i don’t want students, i want peers that i can learn things from and share things with, where we are all learning and growing from our play and shared discovery…
there might be directional exchanges but that’s a temporary state of affairs, a sharing so that one can come to an equal playing field with the other
video game character levels are a good metaphor, everyone is more or less skilled, in different respects. you can learn from everyone, you can teach everyone, you can play with everyone
learning and teaching and playing are actually different facets of the same thing
what if you had something critical to learn from each and every single person in your life? what if you had something critical to teach or give every single person in your life?
have the humility to learn something from everyone you meet, and the confidence to offer something yourself—this is wisdom, this is generosity, this is service
