The Curiosity Department of The Service Guild will be hosting a social reading experiment in July, The Reading Hour!
Each Sunday at 3 PM Eastern, Noon Pacific, 8 PM UTC+1 we’ll gather on Zoom to read together.
We’ll do quick check-ins at the start, read silently for about fifty to fifty five minutes, and then do quick check-outs at the end.
Our intention is to read together so as to support us all in reading the books we feel called to read. You can read anything you like—we won’t all be reading the same works.
Feel free to come in or out as you like, just be mindful of not disturbing others during the silent reading portions.
This experiment will last for the month of July. It may or may not continue or recur after that. Please let us know if you like this experiment or found it useful, or have suggestions about how to improve it!
